Today's royal reunion in Windsor may have been relatively bigger than last year, but some big names were missing, and the Express takes a look.

The Royal Family, led by King Charles and Queen Camilla, put on a united front today as they showed up in Windsor to attend the annual Easter Sunday Matins service at St George's Chapel. The King and Queen waved and smiled at crowds who were gathered outside the chapel before they headed inside the church.
It was the second time His Majesty attended the traditional event following his cancer diagnosis last year. In 2024, the King attended the Easter Sunday church service in Windsor, but with fewer royals in attendance.
Despite the royal reunion being relatively bigger this time around, some big names were missing, and the Express takes a look.

The Duke of York raised eyebrows as he was pictured heading into church alongside his ex-wife, Sarah, Duchess of York. He arrived at the same time as his sister, Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.
The Duke has not been pictured at a formal Royal Family event since last Easter. He had disappeared from public life after stepping down from official duties.
Also attending the service was the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and their son James, Earl of Wessex, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank and Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The most notable absence from today's reunion was most likely that of the Wales family. The Prince and Princess of Wales are spending the weekend with their children in Norfolk.
The Waleses, who have a country home, Anmer Hall, on the Sandringham Estate, missed the annual service last year after Kate, who is now in remission, was diagnosed with cancer.
The Princess Royal's children, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips did not attend either and neither did Duchess Sophie's daughter, Lady Louise Windsor.
Lady Sarah Chatto's sons, Samuel and Arthur, were also absent.
