What happens if I complete Ranni's quest? ›

Drop into the hole, and, you'll find Ranni herself. Give her the Dark Moon Ring, and you'll be rewarded with the Dark Moon Greatsword. Congratulations, you've finished what may be Elden Ring's biggest sidequest. As a post-quest bonus, if you return to Ranni's Rise you'll find Blaidd waiting for you.

The only thing that would lock out Ranni's quest is clicking on the thing (you'll know if you've been there) after beating the final boss instead of Ranni's summon sign after finishing her sidequest. pretty sure the worst that you can do is skip some stages and miss out on a bit of dialogue/lore. After helping the Aranara around Sumeru, they'll return to Vanarana for Festival Ustava, where you'll collect flowers from them by interacting with them and completing their quests.

Simply completing the quest won't lock you into anything, though. Without getting into too much detail, there are three possible major endings in Elden Ring. One of them requires a convoluted sequence of actions beneath the royal capital, Leyndell, which your maiden, Melina, explicitly warns you against.

Once you've done Ranni's questline, this gives you the choice to trigger the secret ending, but won't trigger it automatically. After defeating the final boss of Elden Ring outlined in our Elden Ring main bosses guide, you'll see a blue summoning sign on the ground that'll allow you to bring in Ranni.

If you complete Ranni's questline, you'll also get an incredibly powerful legendary armament known as the Dark Moon Greatsword. This is one of the best weapons in Elden Ring, so it's worth completing Ranni's quest during your playthrough, regardless of the ending you want to choose.

Anzu is a "raven god" and a boss in the Sethekk Halls of Auchindoun (on heroic difficulty only). A druid used to have to summon and kill Anzu as part of the Epic Flight Form quest chain, but as of Patch 4.0. 1, the quest chain was removed and Anzu is now a permanent boss encounter.

Interact with Ranni's doll body to place the Dark Moon Ring on Ranni's finger. Her doll body will then disappear and Ranni, fully restored to her previous life-sized doll form, will appear and thank the player. She confirms that the player is now her consort and promises that they will meet again.

Is the Golden Slumber quest long? ›

Just finished the long golden slumber quest, all the two hours it took me and…it was not worth it. All the headaches, all the puzzles, all the stupid robot pyramid fights, for basically nothing in the end.

If you've just completed Golden Slumber, you'll need to wait for a daily server reset before you can start Dual Evidence. After the reset, teleport to the Statue of the Seven in Aaru Village to begin. A scene will automatically start once you arrive.

There are no negative consequences to saying yes - only boons, such as more story questlines and unique rewards. You must complete Ranni's questline to continue Fia's Questline, which unlocks yet another unique ending as well. Upon accepting, she will task you with finding the lost treasure of Nokron.

Where does Blaidd end up after completing Ranni's questline in Elden Ring? After completing the quest for Ranni, players will need to return to Ranni's rise in order to meet with Blaidd one final time. Unfortunately for them, this time, Blaidd is out for blood and players will have to fight him.
